Scoolingly is a school-communication platform operated by iTsitso Space. These terms cover the Scoolingly platform (all apps). They sit alongside the terms for our other apps; where an app-specific term conflicts with a general one, the app-specific term applies to that app.

Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using Scoolingly you agree to these terms. You must use the platform lawfully and only for legitimate school communication.

Joining a school. Scoolingly is organised by school. Schools are reached only by their unique join code — we do not list or expose parents, guardians or staff anywhere on the platform.

Acceptable use. Use Scoolingly lawfully and only for legitimate school communication. We may suspend accounts or schools to protect users and the platform.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, iTsitso Space is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.

Privacy Policy

We process personal data to provide school communication: names, contact details, class and club membership, messages, attendance, and media you upload. We do not sell personal data.

What we do. Use your data to operate the features you see, secure accounts, meter messaging, and support schools. Each school’s data is isolated from every other school by row-level security.

What we don’t do. We don’t sell your data, advertise to you, or use children’s data for profiling. We don’t share data between schools.

Processors we rely on. Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Cloudflare R2 (media), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email), and Africa’s Talking (SMS). Each processes data only to deliver its part of the service.

Your rights. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Parents should contact their school first for learner records; for anything else, contact us at info@scoolingly.com.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the app — there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Essential cookies: your authentication session, the active school (and, in the Parent app, the active learner), your theme and language preference. The Manage console also stores a short-lived two-factor verification token.

Because these are essential to the service, they are set when you sign in. Clearing them signs you out.
